Which desk mat size do I need?

Short answer: pick by what sits on the mat.

  • Laptop and mouse: M, 279 × 584 mm (11 × 23 in), ₹399.
  • Keyboard and mouse: L, 300 × 800 mm (11.8 × 31.5 in), ₹499.
  • Keyboard, mouse and monitor base, or low-sensitivity gaming: XL, 420 × 900 mm (16.5 × 35.4 in), ₹599.

Measure in one minute

  1. Put your keyboard and mouse where you like them.
  2. Measure from the left edge of the keyboard to as far right as your mouse travels.
  3. Add about 5 cm on each side so nothing hangs off the edge.
  4. Pick the first size that is wider than that number.

Will it fit my table?

Most study and office tables in India are sold in feet. Here is how each size sits on them.

  • 3 ft wide table (91 cm): L leaves about 5 cm on each side. XL covers almost edge to edge.
  • 4 ft wide table (122 cm): XL leaves about 16 cm on each side, which looks neat.
  • 2 ft deep table (61 cm): XL is 42 cm deep, which leaves about 19 cm behind it for a slim monitor base. M and L are under 30 cm deep and leave plenty of room.

Common questions

Is your XL the same as an "XXL mouse pad"?

Yes, roughly. Many sellers call a 90 cm wide mat XXL. Compare sizes in centimetres, not names: "XXL" ranges from 80 to 90 cm wide between brands.

Can I use a desk mat with just a laptop?

Yes. M is made for a laptop and a mouse, and it keeps the laptop's rubber feet from scratching the desk.
