Arrives rolled
Ships in a reused-board tube. Lays flat in 24 hours. A curl on day one is the tube, not a defect. Still curling after a week? That's a replacement.
Materials
Surface: Smooth-finish polyester top. Soft, wipeable, low glare under monitors and lamps.
Base: 3 mm natural rubber. Non-slip on glass, wood, laminate.
Edge: Heat-sealed stitched edge. Won't fray or peel; sits flush.

Base firmness
Every Desk Theory mat ships on the same 3 mm natural rubber base. We'd call it firm: it holds its shape under a keyboard and grips glass, wood and laminate. If you want a spongy mat, this isn't it.
